The trumpets, day of atonement and feast of tabernacles seem to connect or flow together as one, the apartments of the sanctuary seem to be connected to the 7’s; most holy = 7 seals holy place = 7 trumpets and the seven last plagues = the courtyard. Blessings Brother Mark!

Yes, that seems to be the pattern on the Day of Atonement in the symbolic service. What you have in Rev 4 to 16, in my view follows that pattern: The seven seals apply the blood to the mercy seat seven times, the seven trumpets to the golden altar, the seven plagues purge the courtyard.

Thank you for your sharing your studies brother Mark. They always make me think and study more deeply.

This “book of Gad” is highly suspect, at least to me. That is was found/published in 2015 is a big red flag, besides its contents.

This in particular:

6And the host of heaven were standing before Him on His right hand and on His left, and Satan was standing by them, but behind them.

7And then a man dressed in linen brought before the glory of the LORD three books that contained the records of every man. 8And he read the first book and it contained the just deeds of His people, and the LORD said, “These are granted eternal life.” 9And Satan said, “Who are these guilty people?” And the man dressed in linen cried to Satan like a ram’s horn saying, “Silence! This day is holy to our Lord.” 10And he read the second book, and it contained the unintentional sins of His people, and the LORD said, “Put that book aside, but save it, until one third of the month passes by, to see what they will do.” 11And he read the third book, and it contained the wicked deeds of His people. 12And the LORD said to Satan, “These are your share. Take them and do what you want with them.” 13And Satan took the wicked to a waste land to destroy them there.

How can satan be there? It makes it look like satan is IN CHARGE of hell and God is working WITH him. Wasn’t satan thrown out of heaven, along with the fallen angels?

The next indicated question would be “why someone would write/release this NOW?”

It reminds me of the book of Enoch, among others…

John says "Try the spirits" 1 John 4:1. Everyone has to do his own due diligence when it comes to sources of inspiration. For me, the passage you cited above is like the one in Zechariah:

"And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment." Zec 3:1-4 KJV.

I agree with your statement about due diligence and appreciate your reply. However, in Joshua’s circumstance, he was on earth, among the people he was going to be shepherding. There are other things in Gad’s rendition that are suspect but I’ll leave that for another time.

I do enjoy and learn from your writings, thank you again! Blessings!

You're welcome. I'm glad you find them helpful.

I can understand being skeptical of the book. I'm suggesting that readers who find fault with it bear this prophecy in mind, and if it's eventually fulfilled, then revisit whether the book's inspired.
